First Week

Well I sure am not off to a good start at this, so let me start again.
My first week here was a bit hectic, but we managed to get out a bit. We arrived late on a Saturday night and it went from there. My first big stop Santa Monica Pier. It was a fun day filled with sun, sand, and churros. I wondered around the pier taking in my surroundings trying to match things up with pictures of when my family came here when I was little. There weren't any sparkle cars or glitter antennas, so that was a bit disappointing.  The colors were awesome and I had a chance to take some great photos. Then we ventured downtown a bit where I had my first start sighting.  A sunburned and possibly sore William Shatter going into some fancy restaurant with his lovely wife.  He gets chauffeured around in a VW by the way.
The rest of the week was pretty much at home walking around Burbank and running around the hills. Then on the following Friday I met Mom and Amber in Mesquite Nevada to do a vehicle switch. Amber was kind enough to let us use her Truck to haul our crap 1000 miles. The trip would not have been complete with out a little gambling, so we stayed at a hotel with a casino, and took a side trip to Vegas.  No major winnings, but a blast anyway. After that we said our goodbyes and headed in opposite directions.
It was a fun hectic week, but a great start.

West Coast

I am now in the land of the melting sun.  I will try to keep you apprised of my many sunny adventures once I get a job and get out of the apartment. I hope it will be soon because we can only run 2 A/C's and nothing else without the circuits tripping. Oh the adventures that are a brewin'.
